Why Did You Get into Prosthodontics?
Before I went to dental school, I completed a one-year internship at Triangle Restoration Dentistry. During that time, I was able to see firsthand the impact that reconstructive dentistry can have on a person’s quality of life. Throughout dental school, I enjoyed basic restorative coursework and cases. Knowing that I wouldn’t feel fulfilled in my career unless I was able to provide the highest quality of care for the most complex patients, I chose to continue my education through a prosthodontics residency.
What Is Your Favorite Case/Patient/Procedure You Worked On?
I love challenging cases that allow me to collaborate with other dental specialists. I enjoy educating patients on their conditions and treatment options, and guiding them through the different phases of their care. I also love conventional complete dentures!
If You Were Not Doing This, What Would You Have Wanted to Do (Chef? Fire Fighter? Etc.)
I would be making art to sell on Etsy.
Additional Hobbies
Calligraphy, painting, sewing, and baking.

Ocracoke Island, NC.
Family Life
I live in Mebane with my husband, Austin, and our sons “AJ” (age 2) and Charlie (age 1).
